Matt leipold is not someone I would recommend. I don’t know if he had too many cases or what, but he didn’t keep me updated with what was going on. It took 2/3 months after I hired him for him to even review the body cam footage, I had to keep calling to get him to do that. He’s very hard to get in touch with, 99% of the time you have to go through his paralegal. In the 4 months I had him retained I met with him once to take my money, again to have an in person meeting bc I was concerned because there was a bench warrant for me after they told me I was excused(they did call and let me know it was resended)then he told me my 18 month counter offer is reasonable bc in the 2 YEARS it took me to go to court I had been putting in the work. Instead I got the exact same I woulda got if I didn’t. Also! He told me to wait outside the courtroom and he’d come get me, after noticing no one else outside I went in and court had already started. I don’t know if I just got him at a busy time but I truly don’t feel like he did the best he could. In my opinion it felt like he just took what was offered and called it a day.
