I hired Mrs. Mastny for my custody case, and after paying her 3k NON-REFUNDABLE retainer she didn’t work on my case. She took over 4 leaves of absence for her military reserve and didn’t return emails or calls when she wasn’t on leave. Once she filled herself as my attorney with the court case, I couldn’t get her to file any more motions or negotiate with the opposing counsel. I ended up firing her and having to pay another lawyer 5k to take over my case after a year. BEWARE, her experience comes from military JAG, they only do wills and don’t have private practice experience in regular custody and divorce proceedings.
