I got hit by a car at the end of 2021 and Paterson Injury Lawyers took on my case at the beginning of 2022. I only spoke to one of the actual lawyers once months down the line. Karen Johnson was great at the beginning and through the process of getting medical treatment. The overall communication from Paterson Injury Lawyers is inconsistent however. When it came time to negotiate the settlement, they negotiated significantly less than I was hoping for(I literally got hit by a car while I was crossing a crosswalk) and I was not contacted at all during any of the negotiations. This was honestly incredibly infuriating. Nicole is a nice woman and was helpful during the process but when I signed my settlement document she changed her extension and I was unable to reach her at all afterwards. Karen also stopped taking my calls. Eric Thompson, the accountant, ended up helping finish out the process to ensure that my check was delivered to me and he was a massive help and was super understanding. The biggest problem with Paterson Injury Lawyers is their communication. It’s honestly quite terrible but they do their jobs and do it well, and I am definitely grateful that they took on my case. Just wish the communication during the entire process was better.
You guys won’t believe what happened after I got rear-ended on Park Boulevard near 53rd Street. I was stopped at a red light when WHAM – this SUV slammed into me because the driver was texting! The insurance company tried that whole “minor impact soft tissue” excuse for denying my claim, which is complete nonsense! These guys sent me to specialists who documented everything, and they even found security footage from the gas station showing how hard I was hit at that Park Boulevard intersection. They filed everything at Pinellas County Court and texted me updates every few days. My settlement came through last week – $52,500! That covered all my medical treatments, physical therapy, and the paychecks I missed. If you get in a crash anywhere in Pinellas Park, especially around Gateway or near Largo, forget those Tampa Bay attorneys on billboards – the Park Boulevard team knows our community and fights for the people who live here.
