Before you hire Mr. Kimmel, you should read this. He was on the opposing side of my divorce 4 years ago. That said, Judge Dickey informed my ex and I that we were paying too much for our attorneys. That was true. My ex and I had already agreed on the terms of our divorce. Mr. Kimmel advised my husband otherwise. So, we went through a long and painful divorce. It cost each of us $13,000 plus. I ended up better off than my original proposal. Mr. Kimmel was wrong, and it was very costly to both of us. My attorney, Kathleen Anderson, was just as bad. THIS IS MY ADVICE: go to a younger attorney. I fired Kathleen and hired a younger one. It all went smoothly and quickly. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
