I had a case going for a year with Melanie, not only does she do fantastic work. She also treats you as family and a friend. Very well recommended. The state wanted to give me 6 yrs prison for the whole year that we went through with the case. And she was able to get the probation I asked for, with the terms I asked! She will fight for you! Amazing lawyer!!! It’s hard to fine someone to stick by your side like Melanie Kohler!!!

Myself or my family are not from Florida and had no idea who to get to help us get my brother out of jail. Six years ago he was charged with a crime he didn’t commit. The charges were dropped in 2023, but filed again in 2024. Was picked up at the VA hospital in OKC in November and sent to Marion CO jail until March. I believe if it wasn’t for Ms. Melanie my brother would still be in jail with no hope. If anyone or anyone’s love one been in Marion CO. Jail I don’t need to tell you how awful this place is. I believe if a person does the crime they should do the time , but good Lord this place doesn’t care if you are guilty or not. The only thing you can pray for is a Lawyer that cares about her clients. She went above and beyond to do her job.
