I had a lawyer who never returned my calls or emails. The worst part of that experience wasn’t the case itself—it was the complete lack of communication. The constant uncertainty was agonizing and made everything feel ten times harder than it needed to be.
I was told that Kelley Provo was an attorney that really cared. She is Witty, but nobody will provide you with more anxiety than Kelley. The Judge that I drew just so happens to hate Kelley so much that Kelley’s plan to give me a better chance was to have her attorney Katy be the face of my case. I asked them the last time they won with a father and this judge and nobody could tell me. My ex beat me and I have video footage of it. I hired Kelley to represent me for that. We lost. Christmas came and went and I asked why I didn’t get time with my son for his first Christmas. I am being 100% honest. They told me they didn’t know I wanted Christmas with my kid. They said I needed to let them know I wanted to see my child for Christmas. I asked Kelley if I’m paying thousands to be involved in my child’s life you would think that Christmas woukd be the super bowl of their business. Do not ever expect them to do the blatantly obvious. Don’t expect them to negotiate your time to see your child. They’ll just say “they aren’t required to right now” and assume there’s nothing to negotiate time with your child till you go to court. If you hire Kelley you better be prepared for all defense. She doesn’t have an offensive strategy. “You never put your kid in danger” was her entire game plan for my case. My son lives 10 min away from me and now i get to watch my son grow up on Facebook with the woman who hit me up until I can start all over and retain a new attorney, but Kelley made thousands of dollars and never negotiated anything, never went to a single hearing of mine and never got me 1 second with my child.
