In my opinion, this guy is a scum bag and should be disbarred. About 15 years ago, I went thru the FL Bar for discounted legal services for a child custody case. He was the attorney assigned to me. He told me he usually charges much, much more than what I’m paying, was incredibly condescending and dismissive towards me, and never showed up to mediation because “there was too much traffic”, leaving me there with opposing attorneys to fend for myself. He couldn’t even get a change of venue approved by a judge. He and his secretary did constantly hound me for payment even before it was due, however. Today, I’m still dealing with the effects of what appeared to me as purposeful incompetence. I mean, why drive to Miami for a reduced rate even if a child’s welfare depends on it, right? I should’ve filed a formal complaint, but as one can imagine, I had a lot on my plate.
If you give this lawyer a case start a 21 day fast cause only God can help your a$$. Back away, back up, stand down, do your research and keep it moving to bclaat.
