When buying a house for the first time and coming from out of state, our realtor recommended Michael Dunshee as our closing attorney. We are so glad we went with her recommendation. Michael was extremely responsive before, during, and after closing. As our lender mixed up numbers down to the last minute, Michael soothed my frayed nerves and explained how things would go. On the day of, Michael was very personable and professional as he ran us through the process and documentation. Some issues came up after closing, and Michael’s guidance and timely actions were essential in getting everything resolved according to what we had agreed with the sellers. We can’t recommend Michael Dunshee highly enough!

Do yourself a favor and don’t trust him with your money. At first Michael seemed like a nice guy. We closed on the sale of my place and I asked at least twice specifically if the realtor fees were being paid at closing and was reassured by him that it was. Now 2 months later he emails me to say the realtor fees never were paid and I now owe 9,000 dollars…2 months later. Instead of owning his mistake and apologizing he became very rude and unprofessional. Now I’m stuck paying a this huge bill without the money seeing as I was told this was taken care of and I used my money from the sale to pay for a new house.
