Unfortunately, my experience with this law firm did not go well. I requested a consultation, and I worked with a lawyer in the office. I got a second and third opinion which were both in agreement with CO law in my situation. I called back this law firm to discuss this w/the person that advised me. I was told it was forgotten to mention this statute to me, and I received an apology for the error. This was the main gist of my inquiry, and the truth of the statute was not revealed to me during my inquiry. Further, I asked for a recommendation for another local matter. I followed the recommendation and the person recommended to me did not act professionally in regard to state guidelines. When I relayed to the lawyer I worked with at this firm what happened, I was told a complaint has never been stated before about this person/business, and my complaint was dismissed. I’ve since went to the firm’s website, and sent correspondence to the firm about this to discuss it first before this review was posted. I’ve not heard from the firm. I was told this Christian firm prays over all cases, I was given the personal cell of the person I worked with, yet, I’ve heard nothing as of today. I recommend getting a second opinion.
Bill and his staff combined just the right balance between having the wherewithal (knowledge, experience, etc.) and determination to get the job done successfully; with the compassion that I felt was warranted (and needed) in my divorce settlement. I highly recommend Bill and Van Horn Family Law.
