I filed an appeal on My 16yr olds behalf. There was a time limit and it had to be done. After doing so Melanie was assigned to the case. She just called Me and told Me that I shouldn’t be filing anything on His behalf. Was the most disrespectful so called professional I’ve ever dealt with in 25 years of dealing with My own legal matters. Had I not filed the appeal We would have missed the dead line and He wouldn’t have the right to one. Now She has until May 5th to do Her job tax dollars pay Her to do and She’s all bent out of shape. She was trying to act like She was in charge of Me and hung up on Me when I told Her to treat Me with some respect! After reading some other reviews it sounds like She has a horrible attitude towards people and thinks She is better then the people Who cut Her a paycheck! I wouldn’t hire Her for free and will be dismissing Her and filing a complaint with the ethics committee.
Melanie is a highly qualified family practice/defense attorney. She is passionate about protecting her clients and is a pit bull in the courtroom! She schooled the opposing attorney in my sons custody case, which he won due to Melanie’s representation. She has a way of asking questions and presenting in court which should be a requirement for any law student to learn from.
Seemed very arrogant, acts as if anyone she reps is below her and is very unprofessional. Treats people like they aren’t people and she/he is the only thing around. She isn’t a personable person and her help was arrested for intro to contraband which says a lot about her character and the company she keeps.
