We came to Imelda for help, she was professional and seemed like she wanted to help. After submitting paper work and waiting for the next step in our process it’s been really hard to get a hold of her. I found out she had retired through a newspaper article. She never notified us and left us to figure out our immigration case on our own.
My (now) husband and I went here back in 2022. Her consultation fee alone was $200-250. She was nice but not very helpful, completely frowned upon the idea of adjustment of status and opted for the more expensive, time consuming ways. We ended up going to someone else who doesn’t charge a consultation fee and was helpful.
In the initial consult, Imelda was friendly and helpful with the adjustment of status process. She gave clear instructions on the steps to complete the paperwork. Her fee for a one hour meeting was typical, $200. However. when the client chose to save $3,000 to manage paperwork herself, she met with four weeks of failure to return phone calls. When we finally made a follow-up appointment to ask a couple of questions before submission, the client was treated with disrespect, rudely spoken to and demeaning in tone. In other words, if you want to pay $5,000 you will be treated kindly, if not, she doesn’t want your business and she won’t get it in the future from anyone I know! Find a reputable attorney that cares about the immigration process and understands the challenges they face financially!
