The Aurora History Museum and Historic Sites manages historic and cultural resources for the City of Aurora. The Aurora History Museum is the official city museum and the only museum in the city of Aurora. Our exhibits, collections, and educational programs are focused on preserving and teaching local history and the history of people in Aurora. We strive to engage our entire community. We also house the Historic Preservation Office which helps to protect and preserve the history around us by identifying and landmarking historic places.
