I will start off by saying I did not want to post this negative review toward Eric Wollard. I hired Eric for my divorce in 2019. I reached out to Eric after my ex took me back to court because of his poor wording of a paragraph on my MOU. When I called his office I only spoke to his receptionist and she was”no help”. He never responded to my concerns or called me back. When you hire an attorney you really don’t know what to expect and what you’re going to get. I initially gave Eric a five-star review. It wasn’t until 4 or 5 years later dealing with his incompetence, poorly written paragraph, lack of communication did I realize he never had my best interests at heart. His error cost me an additional $14,000 to have one of his paragraphs rewritten as it contradicted itself. As a man seeking a divorce I would advise you not to hire Eric. He is not the best person to represent you.
I made an appointment to talk to Eric Wollard about a family law issue and he was extremely unpleasant the entire conversation. He was hostile, impatient and condescending without even really knowing any of the details of what I needed. I’ve talked to many lawyers about our family law issue and every single one told us it was more than doable and were very understanding, informative and pleasant. But not This guy. Without even trying to ask for more real details He tried to inform me what we need to do isn’t possible, which I find hard to believe considering a least 6 other lawyers have told me otherwise. This man repeatedly questioned decisions we’ve already made regarding the past and acted as though we were stupid for it. At one point I didn’t fully understand what he said to me and I asked “I’m sorry could you say that again?” And he raised his voice to me just under what I would consider a yell. The call only lasted 7 minutes because of how rude he was I had to tell him I could already tell It wouldn’t work out and would not be proceeding with him. In a very unpleasant tone he said “great. Have a nice day.” The only reason I’m still calling around for lawyers is to make the best informed decision and find the right fit. Based off how rude and horrible this man was on our phone call I would never recommend him. I’ll definitely be going to one of the previous lawyers I’ve talked to.
