Do not contact this woman for help with anything! I contacted Lee Janice for help regarding our son’s special education needs in suing the Redlands Unified School District after he had been moved around from placement to placement without receiving the adequate education he should have gotten. She went as far as being involved in some of his IEP meetings and he was supposed to have been awarded $12,000 and a laptop computer, but never received any of that. He also sustained a broken wrist that the Devereux school in Florida had sent him to a doctor for. The doctor there improperly casted his arm and later wouldn’t do anything to correct the problem. Mrs. Janice put up a big front with on the phone and in video meetings with the school district ever time but that’s all it turned out to be, as she later stopped answering any calls and emails from both my son’s mother and myself, which led up to no justified outcome for our son, so if you need professional legal help regarding your child, do not contact her! She’s all bark and no bite and will leave you high and dry without any help or explanation for her actions whatsoever.
I contacted Janice for a bullying and assault issue at school with my daughter. Janice mislead me and made me thought she was helping my daughter, only to be dropped as a client once the school said my daughter was eligible for special education services. I thought the testing was part of the process, not the end goal for my daughter- or else I never would have agreed to this. Terrible experience for my daughter and family! The bullying and harassment is still continuing a year later and Janice claims she helped my daughter by getting her special education services, which I have denied. To think someone knowing what my daughter was going through, thought special education services is or was going to help my daughter with the constant bullying and assaults is mind blowing. To be mislead and then told not to blow another attack on my daughter out of proportion makes a lot more sense now.
