I hired these law firm services twice for my immigration- 1st time in 2015 when I applied for the interview to get a green card, 2nd time in 2019 when I applied for my citizenship. I could not imagine better specialists than George and Chris. I had some complications in my case and they solved the problems in no time. I was impressed how much knowledge they have about the law, the rules and my rights as an immigrant. I will always recommend Law Offices of George W. Abbes to my friends.
Do not come here unless you want to lose your time, money, and family. George W abbes is not even in the office anymore his office is seeming to go downhill with constant change of representation. We went with the law offices of George W abbes because they specialized in criminal immigration law…. however, they seemed to not be knowledgeable red flags were when they acted like they didnt know mt husnand had a criminal record. Why would we have gone to you otherwise? We were uprtont since the begining hence we went with george abbes. they didn’t prepare my husband to travel or for his interview they pretty much sent him on his own possibly knowing he wouldn’t come back. My husband could’ve qualified for AP but didn’t know because it was his lawyer’s job to prepare him to go outside of the US when my husband got refused his visa Chris asked him why he didn’t apply for AP as if my husband would’ve known how to do their job!! They knew he had a criminal record and knew the possible outcomes that happen in Ciudad Juarez with people with a criminal record the immigration officers are not lawyers and hence why you pay for one. Law offices of George Abbes should have sent my husband to Juarez with information describing why his offenses were not crimes involving moral turpitude…. instead they claimed to not know how to practice the law and challenge the officer’s decision because the law doesn’t back up his findings. Chris was so rude to me and my kid when we went to accompany my husband to the meeting telling us to sit in the corner like some dogs or kids on time out… no compassion and no heart to break up a home instead Chris misinformed us of DACA laws. At all costs avoid this law firm!!!
Initially the office seemed very well versed in what they claimed to represent. I was intrigued by the value compared to others and the embrace they took. My case was set with challenges but they were willing to use there knowledge to embrace it. The first steps they took were spot on and did help me get approved for my waivers and prepared them equipped for approval. However after it seems they underwent some changes as many did through COVID, which has depleted their quality severely. The attorney and or assistant handling my case never provided updates or advised over inquiry’s that could of been done. In the last stages of my journey I was having trouble getting answers and proper advice over my case that was paid for already. The attorney seemed to of left his work and cases to paralegals. Hardly available and provided misinformation twice to me. Please make sure you don’t sacrifice quality to save some money when it comes down to your future in the United states.
