This review is strictly for the interaction we had with Laurie, front desk person, and Richard Barndt, trust and will attorney. My father recently passed, we took my mother in to make changes on trust, and we were met with adversarial document presented by the office’s receptionist, Laurie, that states “we will not talk during meeting”. I questioned the document as to why the document is important, Lori goes on about how other clients would have other family members talk on clients behalf then she proceeds to talk about me in the third person, as if I wasn’t in the room. Rude. She runs off like a toddler to tell Richard Brandt, the even more rude atty who comes into lobby hot as poo-poo in the middle of July. When I said, we are all still reeling from the death of my father, his response was, I don’t care. More things were said. I walked out. My mother is now more upset than ever. I have never dealt with an office like this before, especially in our time of grief. Unfortunately, we believe this group “preys” on our elderly as they meet them at a free seminar and signed up there. Find another trust attorney, there are plenty on North Broadway in Santa Ana. Perhaps find an office that doesn’t smell as musty and dusty.
