In November of 2000 Travis AFB Arrested a subject who gave Air Force Police my name, social security number and my DOB. They transported this subject to Solano Sheriff’s Department for booking. While there it was learned that this subject goes by Biggie and a series of alphabetical letters. Then in October of 2019 I attempted to purchase a firearm at a Big Five Sporting Goods Store. During the 10 day waiting period Calif. DOJ learned of subject Biggie’s arrest where he used my name and personal information. DOJ blocked my purchase as Biggie was arrested on a Felony Warrant for Failure to Register under PC 290. In October of 2024, with this issue with subject Biggie still causing Ca DOJ to interfere with my purchases I decided to contact Attorney Jeff Stein to represent me in court. I first met Attorney Stein in the mid 1980’s when I worked for the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department. I knew Stein as being a very good Attorney. Today with the assistance of Congressman Jimmy Panetta’s Office it looks like my name has been cleared after the FBI was contacted. It only took Five Years. Jeff Stein stood by me the whole time.
Carrie Winters and Kara Stein were absolutely excellent in handling my case. They were completely empathetic to my experience and were able to update me throughout the entire process. It can be scary when you are unfamiliar with legal process because it’s new to you, but the firm was extremely prompt and ready to put whats happening into terms you can understand.
