I spoke to Scher about 6 months ago about my nerve damage case. He advised me to get all the medical care that I can thru my employer health plan as workers comp insurance might limit the choice of doctors and to then call him when I was done with all the treatment to file the workers comp and potentially get partial DI. All my treatments haven’t gone anywhere since then and as a result I’m ready to pursue a partial DI claim now. So I called him again yesterday and to my utter surprise in an about-face he said that I hadn’t filed a workers comp case yet and that he was “not interested”. I didn’t file a case yet solely based on his suggestion last year.
