This lawyer deserves 0 stars but since that is not an option one star is what I have to give. This was the absolute WORST lawyer I’ve ever seen. He did NOTHING to help my friend’s case at all and then when my friend asked for their case file from him when they hired a competent lawyer who would actually do their job, my friend received a nasty phone call from Mr. Benson in which he was speaking in a very foul manner to my friend. He tried telling my friend that they couldn’t have their case file which of course was a complete lie and they eventually got their case file from his secretary. He was mad because my friend fired him but that is what happens when you treat your clients badly, have an unprofessional attitude, are never available to speak to your clients about their case and you don’t put any effort into winning your client’s case. My friend went to Mr. Benson’s office multiple times to speak to him about their case but Mr. Benson was always “unavailable” to speak to his client at that time. My friend was told they would receive a phone call from Mr. Benson as soon as he was “available”. Mr. Benson only called his client ONE time and that was to tell my friend off for firing him for a lawyer who was going to do their job in a professional and lawful manner. My advice to anyone thinking about hiring this lawyer is don’t waste your time and money, look for a lawyer who will treat you respectfully, keep you informed about your case and put all of their effort into winning your case. You’ll be really disappointed if you hire this lawyer and you’ll end up losing your case and your money.
