My last hearing was in April. Had to fire him today because 6 months later he still had not completed any of the final judgment paperwork. He is defeatist and will tell you that filing anything at all is not going to help you because nobody cares. He will not help you with your case. He will only convince you not to help yourself. Sincerely regret ever hiring him. Was definitely misrepresented to me by his legal assistant who said that he was motivated. Still deal with constant harassment and violations of the orders from my ex-husband and he does nothing to help me whatsoever except tell me that I basically have to take it. He does not even try to file anything to help. If he hates his job and his clients this much he should just retire.
This lawyer represented my domestic partner in a divorce and then again to reduce spousal support. Don’t hire him if you want someone that will fight for you. Shedwell was practically worthless. He was not willing to go to court and came up with some random amount on his own without considering my partner’s situation. Beware of his ability to speak circles around you.
