I appreciate the help provide by the firm on an employment law case very professional, informative, and communicative although that experience was great I do have to let everyone know to be careful with them because they improperly reported my settlement as other income to the IRS causing me a whole mess of problems. Mind you I had a prior case with another firm and never had any issues and the settlement was way more then what was settled on the case handled by this firm. I’m still trying to sort this issue out with the IRS causing me a delay on my tax return for 2024. The case with this firm is from 2022 and I’m facing interest and penalty charges on the settlement when it should have not been taxed. This situation foreshadowed any positive experience I had with this firm. No one wants to owe the IRS let alone penalties and Interest on top of it.
