First, I want to state that Ms. Phillips never asked me to write review about my experience with her law firm, I am doing this because I simply want to share my experience that was nothing but the best and I want other people who find themselves in my situation to know what kind of person and attorney Ms. Phillips is. I am writing everything with complete honesty. In the end of 2019 I started my divorce case that was very complicated. I found Ms. Phillips online, I googled her work experience first and when I saw that she has practiced law for 40 years I already had a good feeling about her. Nothing can beat experience (plus I realized later that she truly loves being an attorney, it’s really rare to find people who are excited about their job these days). I called her and we scheduled the appointment. I went to her office and she listened to me as if she was my mom. I opened up, I cried a lot and I told her everything about the injustice that have happened to me. It seemed to me at that time that it will be impossible for me to win the case because of ammount of false accusations that opposing dishonorable attorneys that were representing my ex were stating against me. Looking backward I think it was kind of exciting for Ms. Phillips to accept this case plus she really dislikes injustice because she is very honorable person and I also had a feeling she wanted to help me especially because I am an immigrant young woman who had literally zero family members in US and I also do not have a formal education from this country, so I apologize if my review is not completely grammatically correct, I’d state that overall point is important. My trial was long and very emotionally exhausting. Me and Ms. Phillips worked alonside. I would gather as much evidence as I could and also she as an experienced attorney did her part of the job excellent and gathered evidence, wrote plenty of pages for the court etc… And Oh my God, just listening the cross examinations that Ms. Phillips was doing…! I was amazed by how brilliant and professional and intelligent she is! Fast forward we proved the truth at the end and I am beyond grateful that I had her by my side. Something what I would like to mention about Ms. Phillips personality is that at beginning she might seem a little cold because she is old school and has honorable ethics . I also think that she really cares about her client and that she has a strong winner mentality so I think that if she decides to accept your case most likely you will be beyond happy with the end result. Very important- do not lie to Ms. Phillips, disclose everything so she could help you the best way possible. Also, Ms. Phillips is in position in her career where she is able to choose her clients so concider yourself lucky if she decides to accept your case. Good luck, God bless.
