I spoke to Travis Siegel, regarding a possible case against a Rehabilitation/Nursing Home that neglected my Mom. Even though the case would have been difficult or unlikely to win, Travis took the time to listen to my story. He was compassionate and respectful about my situation and if there would have been a chance to hold them accountable I would have felt as though I was in good hands with him.
At my Attorney’s suggestion, I attended an online seminar “Building a Winning Elder Abuse Case: Trial Preparation” presented by Kim Valentine. As a Litigation Paralegal of over 20 years in Delaware with more of a background in PI and now newly working on MM/NH cases. This seminar was more insightful than I could have anticipated. Kim covered a large amount of material in short period of time, but everything was easy to follow and comprehend as a result of the way it was presented. Throughout, Kim’s presentation it was easy to see the honesty, compassion, and conviction in her words and expressions. One thing I will certainly take away from the seminar is what we are doing is good and sadly it is not a level playing field. Kim is leveling the field and trying to bring all of us with her. Thank you and I will not hesitate to reach out to her firm or refer someone in need to her firm.
Although I do wish we never needed this type of services; I’m glad to have used Valentine. We worked with Travis. He did an awesome job. I didn’t need to call him for anything unless I desired to. It was little to no stress to me while Travis worked in the background. He handled both the family and court drama. Travis would call every once in a while to update us as needed. I never felt the need to chase him down. When the final days came to be, Kim joined in. They both were great. I hope no one ever has to use them or anyone else but if/when you do, I would 100% recommend this group to handle these matters with little to no impact/stress on your normal day to day.
