Martha Iturrioz, an attorney based in Long Beach, California, has received mixed reviews from clients. While some praise her for her dedication and ability to provide a sense of security during challenging legal situations, others express frustration over perceived incompetence and lack of communication. Overall, it seems that while Martha has positively impacted some clients, there are significant concerns regarding the quality of service and professionalism from her firm.
HORRIBLE ATTORNEYS HERE!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT I repeat DO NOT hire this firm. They take your money and DO NOT care about your kids.MARTHA to be specific is just terrible. Apparently she is trying to be a commissioner, I will be submitting a letter to the courts as well about her poor ability to represent. I wish I can give her ZERO stars. WORTHLESS

1 Review on “Martha Iturrioz”
I normally don’t write reviews like this, but after my experience with Martha & Jennie’s law firm, I felt it was necessary. What happened to me lines up almost exactly with the other reviews I’ve now read, and I truly wish I had seen them sooner.
From the beginning, I was promised things during my consultation that were never delivered. I was told my case would be handled a certain way, that communication would be consistent, and that specific filings and steps would be taken. Instead, after paying my $4,500 retainer, I ended up doing most of the follow-up myself—sending email after email just to get basic information and repeatedly requesting forms that should have been provided to me without having to beg.
They even started working on my case without knowing who was going with me to court. That alone showed how unprepared and disorganized they were. I asked multiple times for a copy of my file, and instead of simply giving it to me (as I am legally entitled to at no charge), I was told I would be billed for it. Completely unacceptable.
What made everything worse was the communication: they would ignore emails, delay responses, fail to give updates, and never follow through on things they said they would do.
But the billing emails? Those they never forgot.
I would get constant “pay your bill” emails—sometimes multiple reminders—yet my actual case-related emails would go unanswered. It was incredibly frustrating and felt like the only priority was collecting money, not representing me.
In total, I’ve now paid nearly nearly 9k and all I received in return was one court appearance where the representation I had was terrible, unprepared, and nothing like what I was promised. I did not feel advocated for, supported, or defended. I left that courtroom feeling alone and misrepresented.
My experience matches the same pattern many have had with them completely.
I’m writing this so others don’t go through what I did. This firm cost me time, money, and peace of mind, and they never provided the representation they promised. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for legal help.
