Edaburn Patrick J, an attorney based in Lodi, California, has received mixed feedback from clients regarding his professionalism and communication. While some clients have expressed disappointment over his lack of responsiveness and perceived unprofessionalism, others appreciate the referral they received, indicating a belief in his potential capabilities. Overall, there is hope that with improved communication, Patrick could better serve his clients in the future.
Hangs up the phone on potential clients, probablyt lacks candor. Would stay away from attornies who cannot even be honest to their clients
My wife and I are in the process of adopting my cousin. Both of his parents have left him and he is only 3 years old. My wife and I have MetLife Insurance which covers some of our attorney fees. My wife has made multiple attempt to reach out to Patrick as he was referred to us by MetLife. My wife left 3 messages and we realized after the first message that he had blocked her calls. I attempted to reach out today and got ahold of him. He state he isn’t taking any adoption cases at this time. My wife then corrected me and said we are looking to get guardianship (which according to her is different). I tried to call again and my number was blocked. So I called from my business line and he answered again. I had told him that my wife and I are looking for guardianship and his answer was the same. He currently wasn’t taking any guardianship cases. Now this is fine that he isn’t, however it is extremely unprofessional to me not to answer my wife’s first 3 calls. Also, blocking potential clients phone numbers is just bad taste and adds to the unprofessionalism that Patrick has shown us. I don’t know what Patrick’s real end-game is, but I don’t think your clients deserve to be treated like they don’t matter. I hope Patrick gets a grip and makes changes to effectively communicate with potential prospects in a more timely and professional manner. We were referred because it was the belief that Patrick would be able to help.
