I really hate leaving a negative review, especially because the lawyer herself is genuinely kind and always polite. However, after enduring a prolonged and frustrating experience, I feel compelled to share my story. Unfortunately, the lack of communication throughout my case made what should have been a simple process incredibly difficult and stressful.

With family law being the most unfair platforms to negotiate child, custody and divorce, I have to say that Genevieve, is a true hero when it comes to navigating this field. I had one of the most difficult and heartbreaking custody/DV survivors cases you could possibly imagine. Historically, family-court puts all DV survivor’s who are in high conflict divorces…”into the Trenches.” Having an attorney who was able to help navigate all of the legal manipulations, judges…who just kicked the can down the road, Supervision, scandals and stalking…to name a few, was what we were dealing with. Genevieve knew exactly how patient we needed to be and when to make the best move that was best suited. I previously had lawyers who promised the world to me, but instead took my money, and did nothing at all. Genevieve knows the law and is incredibly smart and bright in every way you need a lawyer to be. She has a good heart and a sharp edge that consistently makes headway both ethically and in an eloquently manner that allowed me to stand strong and believe in myself and the process. I hope that lawyers in this field can follow her lead in this very tumultuous area of law. The world needs ten thousand more Genevieve Suzuki’s so that family law can become a solution for peace instead of a platform for violence and hatred against women and children.
