Do NOT waste your money and your time on this “attorney”. I hired her for $5K (retainer) after my first attorney, Kevin Lemley, failed to file my paperwork on time, which was going to cause me to pay $1,000 in opposing attorney fees. She claimed she didn’t see the email, because she lives in the country with poor internet service and not knowing how to check her “spam” folder. Because of her negligence, I was forced to pay the thousand dollar fine. Eating that money, I asked her to file for a Guardian Ad Lidem on behalf of my child. She told me my case didn’t warrant one of those and proceeded to drag out my case with no progression for months. I have since hired new counsel and had a AAL appointed almost immediately… She was incredibly rude on every phone call we had and the last call before I fired her, she yelled at me and then hung up on me. She does not return emails in a timely manner and does not show up to court when she says she will. I could go on, but I hope you heed my warning that Vickie Cochran is a worthless attorney to handle your case when it comes to child custody matters.
