I hired Mr. Scholl for a child custody case in July of 2023. My daughter was in my care for over a year before I retained Mr. Scholl. In August of 2023 her mother put an order of protection against me after finding out I was trying to stop paying her child support for our daughter while she was living with me. Mr. Scholl was not helpful to my case at all. As a matter of fact, the worst decision I made retained him. I lost my daughter, child support went up and he charged me over 7K within 3 months working with him was nothing but loss after loss. Once I decide to move on from him he called me giving his opinion that he could file an appeal which I declined. He sent me a new bill for that declineing conversation. He will bill you for same emails to of third party when he could CC everyone in one email to create extra charges. His office makes up false invoice prices also If you don’t check the previous invoices they’ll change the price and say they didn’t add correctly. He doesn’t care about his clients only the money. I paid over 7K for nothing to get my rights to my daughter taken. He is the worst attorney I ever dealt with. So save yourself some money and don’t hire him.
Don’t be fooled by the fancy write-ups of the expertise Mr. Scholl claims to have, especially for military families. He took my husband’s case and money, let my husband do all of his own research, and then did not even present it in court. My husband’s ex- wife now gets half of his entire military retirement- most of which she is not entitled to. My husband was mocked in court in front of this dishonest person by her attorney and Mr. Scholl offered no defense. If he felt my husband didn’t have a case against this dishonest woman and her even more dishonest lawyer, then we would have appreciated some honesty up front. Very disappointing and has had an extremely negative impact on my family.
