This office has refused services for my husband and I because of a “conflict of interest” since they’ve helped the opposing party in some sort of way I suppose. In which would be understandable if there was only ONE paralegal at this office. What I don’t understand is since one lady named Jacky ruled it as “conflict of interest” the first time we called. Another person we spoke to, then didn’t want to listen to anything we had to say. Which would only make sense if there was only one paralegal that assists with family court. I suppose that would still remain unfortunate but that was not brought to our knowledge. This morning we spoke with a gentleman in which so rudely did not want to hear us out, nor ask for advice from a higher up (manger or supervisor) in this matter. It did not seem fair, This office did not want to assist us at all. I’m unsure if there is some sort of biased going on since we don’t resign in Kingman or If every paralegal in this office discusses every case amongst each other. Then I’d understand how that would be conflict of interest, However wouldn’t you say that paralegals are required to uphold Client Privilege? Even amongst each other in this company. No explanation other than we can’t help you is what was told to us. We do not think it was ethical of this non profit organization and If some more information was given to us or even some decency that would’ve been appreciated. I hope you have a better experience than us but take this into consideration. Thank you.
