Visited his office after being referred by others having used him. We sat down with him and he immediately told us he only handled wills not previously disclosed. Fifteen minutes or less later we left and he told his secretary to bill us $150. Big ego for an old semi retired lawyer thinking he is worth $600 an hour. I am tired of lawyers only wanting to have you sit down with them for 15 minutes charge you but not knowing if they will represent you. My contract shows the borrower owes me $40,000. The Sheriffs department and two other lawyers claim I have an air tight case and to use a paralegal firm. As for the $40,000, it does not appear to be enough to interest lawyers of today. Perhaps we have too many lawyers and the term ambulance chasers is warranted.
