Just spoke with Attorney Choi about a recent ID Theft situation and got some excellent information. Hoping I never need to retain an attorney, but if I do I’ll be coming back to them.
In 2021 , myself and a few more people were victims of fraud by a used car dealership in Mesa. I bought a truck, paid in cash and I was told by the guys in the dealership that I was going to receive the title in about 30 days by mail. So I trusted them. A month later, one night a towing truck took my truck. I called 911 thinking someone had stolen it, but that was not the case. I was told by the operator that my truck was not under my name and the company that owned it decided to pick it up. I told them that I had a contract that I sign proofing that I paid in cash, but they told me that they were not able to help. It was so frustrating to go through all this since the police department was not able to help, MVD was not able to help and I spoke to multiple lawyers that told me that I didn’t have enough evidence and I didn’t have a case. I was mad, fustrated, and losing hope until I met Mr. Choi.
