I met with the junior associate, Andrew Garrett, twice, regarding conflicts with my father’s estate. In those meetings he was very nice and seemed ready and willing to help me. I am on limited income so he said I needed a larger initial retainer but also said that he thought they could work with me and do things economically for my case. It isn’t a complicated issue. Maybe he thought I wouldn’t be able to come up with the retainer or something because when I finally had that money, his attitude became very different. I had a phone call meeting with him to discuss moving forward and he was very short/rude with me. Suddenly, he seemed to think my issue would require four+ times the amount of money to resolve than he had estimated previously. It was clear that he didn’t really have any interest in taking me on as a client because I have limited income and apparently that means that I won’t be able to pay the bill. He denied what he had said at our previous meeting, gaslighting me.
Honestly…. some of the best service you could get
We made an appointment over a month ago. But they canceled us just two days before our consultation because they had better cases. Then leaving us in the lurk and not helping us find another lawyer. Then telling us we could find someone cheaper just to find out everybody was twice expensive or more. Not to mention this has been causing hardship on my family. We haven’t received any help for anyone. Highly disappointed would not recommend
