Middlemas Davis L, an attorney based in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, has garnered a range of reviews highlighting the frustrations of clients seeking mental health care. Many reviewers express dissatisfaction with the lack of communication and professionalism from the office staff, as well as the dismissive attitude of certain medical professionals. Despite these negative experiences, a few individuals have found positive interactions with specific practitioners, suggesting that while the overall sentiment leans toward disappointment, there are instances of compassionate care within the facility.
Why am I not surprised to open reviews on this place and they’re all 1/2 stars. Dr. Cornelius is woefully incompetent and dismissive. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. I have had terrible side effects from the medications he has prescribed me and he refuses to listen to any feedback on that, let alone give medical advice on how to come off of the medications. Not to mention, multiple times I have come in requesting a referral or any information on gene testing. He told me on my visit today “you’ll have to figure that out, have a good day” when I repeated the concern. I waited for over an hour to be seen for him to give me zero direction or medical advice. This office requires a patient to arrive at minimum 15 minutes early for an appointment, and every time I have come here I’ve waited an additional 30-60 minutes on top of that to be seen. This entire location has no saving grace.
Don’t tell Dr Cornelius you’ve consumed cannabis at any point in your life, he’ll call you a pothead and refuse to treat you after making you come to his office several times for nothing
It has just really been a bad experience. After having my meeting last wednesday, with a nurse practitioner psychiatrist. She’s prescribed my medication. Is it for when main medication I need it the most. But her being a nurse practitioner, she couldn’t
