As an African American woman, a good and fair attorney is definitely hard to find. In this this instance, I found the best in the business to handle my complaints. The firm I chose was Winter McFarland because they have demonstrated their commitment, dedication, honesty and trustworthiness without prejudice. There is no racism in this firm; there is only kindness, honesty, trustworthiness and hardworking people trying to solve the problems of hardworking people that need their help. This is the best attorney law firm that I have had the opportunity to work with. They take the time to care and handle your complaints with upmost urgency professionally.
Firm does not represent AEA members well. I advise AEA members that are allowed to join AFT to do so. AEA is a joke now. This firm and AEA treat non-white members totally differently than their white counterparts. If you are not a member of AFT, I would suggest that you not use AEA to refer you to their attorneys; thus, it is a set up for non-white members.
If I could rate this place no stars I would….lack of communication, the people are “always busy” and always “out of the office” if you’re looking for effective communication this is not the place for you. I’d look otherwise
