Mr. Livingston was very helpful and communicative. I had a particularly difficult traffic ticket and he reduced my ticket to a non moving violation. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you!!!
I used the services of Mr Livingston and was pleased with the outcome; but let me tell the complete story. I was charged with a traffic violation in Cherokee County, Al in late summer 2024. I had previously purchased a prepaid lawyer plan through Metlife Insurance company so I was referred to Mr Livingston by them. I was accepted by Mr Livingston as a client and told by his office to send in a copy of the ticket and wait. I was given a court date and told that I would meet Mr Livingston on that date at the courthouse. A day before the court date I emailed his office just to check if everything was still in order and was told that a continuance had been filed for a date in December. Glad I contacted Mr Livingston’s office or else I would have been sitting in court for no reason. Also, no attempt was made by his office to inquire of me if the date for continuance was convenient for me at all. So, December rolls around and I recieve an email from Mr Livingston’s office that another continuance has been issued for February. Again, no input from me about whether or not I could arrange it but hey,at least I was notified by his office this time. Now, it’s a few days before the February court date. I call the office to again check on everything. I’m told that the court date is a go but that Mr Livingston will be late due to another hearing in a neighboring county. I’m told the judge is aware of this and I am just to show up and wait. I wonder if I’m being treated like the client nobody wants because I’m using prepaid legal services? I’ll never know. But anyway, after waiting while other cases were adjudicated, Mr Livingston shows up, calls out mine and another clients name and tells us to sit tight. It took ten minutes for him to discuss both cases with the prosecutor, in a closed room, for Mr Livingston to emerge and congratulate us both on being not guilty. We were free to go! I asked what he did and he just smiled and and asked that I write a Google review for him. Looks like in the court document I recieved from Mr Livingston’ s office afterwards, the prosecution provided no witnesses. So I guess the Trooper never showed. Lucky me.
