I only wish there was a negative star option, because it would be negative 5. Shannon was retained to represent my daughter in her divorce case. She changed the court date, not informing us until the day before. We were already on the flight to Alabama. Wasted thousands of dollars on the flight, hotel & rental car. Shannon was supposed to fight to have jurisdiction changed, as my daughter & grandson don’t even live in Alabama & my grandson’s father lives in Florida! Jurisdiction isn’t in ALABAMA, it’s either in Florida or California. But Shannon failed on that big time. With a lot of screw ups & ugliness, the divorce court date came. Sigh, what a mess. The judge had no respect for Shannon, dismissing everything she would say. She continually told my daughter, “the judge is going to take your son & give him to his father.” This in turn panicked my daughter into make the horrible decision to moving back to Alabama. This was/is not the best interest of my Grandson & Daughter, but Shannon didn’t care, she was too worried about the judge & his distaste for her. The judge DOES NOTE like Shannon, so there was no way for her to represent properly. I advise is to STAY very clear of this attorney. She is a mess & will muck up your legal matters worse then she receives them.
