Mr. Stoner’s lack of interest/effort in my case cost me my case. I hired him to be my voice at trial, but he did absolutely no work toward my defense. If your case ends up in the media, he’s your man. If not, you are out of luck and left with years of appeals. My case was the result of law enforcement and prosecutorial misconduct. Mr. Stoner would not risk retaliation from the DA by pointing out this fact. The DA told him he would not accept a Not Guilty plea and that there would be no trial. Mr Stoner pretended to fight this in order to take my $10,000, then showed up at trial after nearly two years with absolutely nothing. He has skill, but absolutely no ethics.
