One star only because Google review makes you choose at least one, if I could give minus stars I would, we met with this attorney at her office, she agreed to take the case but wanted some money up front to hold the case as new clients, we didn’t sign a contract with her yet, big mistake on our part but we trusted her, she took $250.00 from us and we were going to meet with her again soon to sign a contract to begin working with her as our Attorney, we tried getting back in touch with her numerous times even went to her office, no one was there, she never called us back and kept the money for doing absolutely nothing for us, we felt totally scammed, we called the Portage county bar and they called her and spoke to her, she promised them she would give us our money back, she never did, amazed that she would just keep the money, buyer beware with this attorney.
Solicits business from local newspapers looking for people to represent during their divorces, and god only knows what else. I got her letter asking to represent me during my divorce, before I was even served divorce papers! Very tacky and unprofessional. Didn’t realize ambulance chaser lawyers prey on divorce defendants too. Both real lawyers I’ve spoken to were baffled she would do such a thing, and have never heard of something like that happening. You would think a good lawyer wouldn’t need to be begging for business. Her distasteful letter she sent me in a difficult time is enough for me to never use her, nor reccomend such a person to anyone I know.
