This is the first time I’ve ever given a bad review and to be fair, it’s completely necessary. I’ve been trying to get my case settled since December 2023. My case finally settled mid to late February 2025. Once it settled they changed the attorney fee from 33% to 40%. That’s when I realized that they never gave me any paperwork saying 33%. That’s on me for not doing my due diligence in making sure I had it in writing. But, you should watch out . Now, let’s get into the real problem. During my case I had 3 different attorney’s as none of them stuck around for whatever reason. During my case it was impossible to get any updates or even a call back. Now, it’s May and I was told at the latest I’d be paid a month after due to logistics and outside entities that the law office had to work with. It’s been three months since my case settled now and the only update I’ve received was about 2 months ago despite calling many times and the person who handles this payout stage of my lawsuit is named Jocelyn. For whatever reason, she is impossible to get ahold of. I had to call their office many times just to get her to send an email to handle an aspect of my case she hadn’t taken care of. During that call, she said, “oh, I sent them an email a month ago and haven’t heard back.” That’s my last update. Again, two months ago. What kind of professional business waits a month for a response regarding a lawsuit when they specifically told me, the client, that I would be paid within that month? So I finally was able to get her to do better on contacting them. Every time I try to get ahold of Jocelyn, she’s not in the office. No matter what time of day it is. Now, don’t get me wrong, I get it’s busy, it’s a law office. The issue is that she doesn’t call back EVER. I will say, one of the front attendants is lackluster and has an attitude. So, unfortunately, I’m not sure why it was so impossible to get ahold of her as It may have been the front desk failing to pass on the message that I called or it may have been that she just didn’t call. I’m not certain why I wasn’t called back. All I know is that I have never once received a call back from her even when I called 4 days in a row. I’ve maybe talked to her 2 or 3 times out of the 15 or so times I’ve called since February. I’m completely in the dark on my case settlement. Law office did a good enough job on the case but the rest of my experience has been pretty bad. Imagine having lawyers you can’t talk to for anything. That’s arash law.
