Atty. Aquino excels in immigration processing, approaching each case with genuine care. Feel free to share any concerns with her; she’s dedicated to resolving all issues.
This is a good law office for immigration issues. The only problem was the person who appeared to be the office manager. They have a receptionist at the front desk handing out and asking me to fill out an auto-payment form, for my credit card, that asks for my credit card number and CVC code, on the back. I told her that I’m not comfortable placing all of that info on a document, that could be seen by multiple people and possibly sit on a desk, viewable by who knows who, before it gets filed. After expressing my concern, she called the office manager who told me that she will file it securely away until she needs it once a month to charge me. I asked her where it would be stored, because I was concerned about someone being able to access the filing cabinet, whatever. I told her that I was concerned that maybe the cleaning crew could gain access to it and proceeded to question her about the security of where it’s kept. At that point she went into “protection mode” and said that I couldn’t tell you where it would be stored, because of security. I felt I had probably exposed a lack of security, but ended up being told “This is how it works here, and basically take it or leave it”. In these days of rampant identity theft, you can’t be too careful. I told them that I expected to enter the the credit card info into a secure website, but they don’t offer that option, unfortunately. I felt that the manager was rather poor at customer relations and could have been much more professional.
