I worked with Michelle on a case I was so afraid of bringing I almost backed out of it at one point. I had forgotten this until I sat down to write a review, but during the early stages of the suit, she helped me with several really difficult things happening in my life unrelated to her duties to me as my lawyer. I would probably have felt compelled to write her a great review because of the result she got for me in the lawsuit, which is what most people care about, but I’m a lawyer myself and I know that being in involved in a lawsuit can be a horrible experience if you aren’t working with lawyers that believe you and ultimately are treating you like someone going through a human experience. She has a unique understanding of a lot of things that make it very easy to trust her with all the information you need to tell your lawyers, and there aren’t many other lawyers I know of that can make a lawsuit feel less painful than it has to be. At this level you’re going to be getting good lawyers, so for my money I would choose good lawyers that area also good people, which is hard to find. I was also probably a very difficult client, because lawyers are the worst clients, and she always responded to my emails, set up same-day phone conferences when we were in different time zones, and really seemed to understand. I hope lawyers like her rise to the top.
