My ex-wife and I worked together for several months on what we wanted in our divorce decree before even contacting a lawyer. We didn’t know how to draw the paperwork up legally. So my ex chose her office to draw up the paperwork. The first revision of the decree, was missing several items that we wanted. Yes, my ex was the one that her office was representing. Because she is the one that contacted the office. But we worked together on every email regarding changes. It took I believe 13 revisions to the decree before it was even acceptable. We understood that there would be a few items we may not have expected that needed to be addressed. But once one thing was changed the verbiage, another area would be changed. Forcing another revision. Excuses we got was “my assistant draws up the paperwork, I’m sorry if she missed something”.
Melody is amazing so far, my case is just in the beginning and hopefully is over quickly but Melody has been more then helpful and understanding. Highly recommend
