Carrie Walters represented my ex -wife in divorce court. Since both of our names where on the title for my vehicle she provided a Power of Attorney (POA) document that would allow me to transfer the title to my name only. I went to the NC License Plate Agency (NCLPA) and they stated that they could not read her Notary Seal. (1X) I attempted to call Mrs. Walters (Mail Box full could not leave message) so I went to her office-no one there even though I did hear noises in her office.Left her a message in box out side of office. I did complete an email to her and she did call back and stated that the seal was there just very faint and that she did not keep copies. I went back to NCLPA and they again said nope. (2X) I have also been to Bank of America(BOA) and they also said can’t see it, so nope.(3X) So three times it’s been denied. All I was asking was for her to do what I would call the right thing and correct the problem by re stamping the POA paper. She has stated through emails that she would require a $250.00 retainer fee to correct the problem. Not sure if she is aware but most Notaries only charge $10.00 for a seal . ( Would be willing to pay that) Well that’s my story…
She was supposed to be my court appointed attorney and hasn’t represented me not the least little bit the three months she has been assigned my case. And then I ended up with a warrant because of her! But she NEVER CONTACTED ME ABOUT MY COURT DATE SO THAT I COULD APPEAR IN COURT! Which was then the result of me having a warrant! My probation officer, the treatment center I was in, and myself tried contacting her for weeks in which none of us got a response.
Thank you Mrs Carrie
