Overall, the closing went as expected. David was personable and thorough. However, the experience turned negative due to a mistake on their part. After I signed the closing documents I gave explicit instructions for them to mail the proceeds check to my home address. We even made sure my mailing address was correct. After waiting patiently for 6 business days for the check I called to find what the issue was. They said it was there in the office for me to pick up. I had plans for an out of country trip the next day so waiting for them to mail it at this point was not an option. My time is valuable. I had to change my already busy day by driving over two hours for their mistake.
