Feeney & Gurwitz

Personally, I don’t think Kevin Feeney did anything but make excuses. At first I was excited because he said he knew the judge and said if I hadn’t gotten in trouble before, could prove that I was doing better (mental health wise), and could stay out of trouble then I should get ARD “no problem”. Well after a year of continuances due to many reasons like him (Kevin Feeney) not finishing a letter of reconsideration that he had over a month to complete, or him stating that he’s “waiting for the DA to get back to him” multiple times, etc. It never seems to be his fault for any delays. Oh and if you wanted any information on your case before the court date then you’ll probably have to call and leave messages multiple times for him to contact you and if he does, he emails you. You basically have to be upset in order to get him on the phone. Not something you thought would happen with someone you’re paying $3500 to. In the end, when he gave up because things didn’t go the way he wanted, I was forced to plea to a charge that Mr. Feeney said “wasn’t worth fighting”. I was not only surprised with this info 5 minutes before being called up to the stand (the day of court with no heads up whatsoever), but isn’t that what I’m paying you for, is to fight for me? Money definitely wasted.
