Worst attorney office, they won’t answer simple questions
I’m updating my review to 1 star, and here’s my reason… Mr. Hutto is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what he’s doing… but he is soooo unorganised and never available … I understand that in his line of work, things become extremely busy, but he needs to expand his staff or close the business to new clients temporarily until he can make genuine time for new clients*…. With the knowledge and understanding of his line of work, this man has no earthly need to worry about clients/money running out if he were to close for a short time to take care of his current clients… it’s when you fail a new clients by putting them on the back burner for months and then becoming rude/guilt tripping through email/text message that is bad for business … I started to give 2 stars, but after going to a bookkeeper that solved my tax issues in less than one hour, I have to give one star for complete lack of compassion, care, communication, and unorganisation… he even had the audacity to tell me at the beginning of my almost one year wait on the back burner that if I stuck with him and didn’t go elsewhere for help, that he would not only straighten out my house taxes… he would do my yearly taxes and make sure I got back the maximum for taxes as a single mother, all the while knowing he never intended on helping me with anything let alone taking even 3 mins out of his day to CALL me personally and let me know that he would be too busy to provide (less than an hour of) services*… at times I still wondered how excellent his services could be because of how well he had taken care of his referring client in the past.. but things even fell apart with him for the client that referred him to me!! I think I’ve heard enough horror stories, along with my personal experience, of Hutto taking advantage of the time and desperation of vulnerable clients that came to him for help because they didn’t know or understand what they were doing with their taxes and business issues to keep that wonder a complete mystery… hopefully in the future Mr. Hutto is able to get himself together and run his business at it’s greatest potential, because I’m confident that he was made for excellence .. but for now I just can’t recommend him to friends/loved ones …
I’ve had nothing but issue since Ken Hutto “helped” me setup my LLC in 2022. This is just an example of one I’ve had. I got a final notice from the FL Department of Revenue stating my Q1 2024 RT6 wasn’t filled. My payroll service, Gusto, should have filled that for me. I looked on Gusto and it wasn’t filled stating “failed multiple attempts”. I paid the fine and the amount due. That led me down a rabbit hole. The FEIN on the rt6 from Gusto, on SunBiz and Internal Revenue Service all match, and is correct. On the notice, it had the old FEIN number. In 2022 the name of the Business was changed from Stuart Rutherford PLLC to Semper Insured PLLC. The only reason for the name change was due to Ken Hutto, filing my LLC under my name and not the requested name of the business Semper Insured. They acknowledged the mistake and refilled under the correct name, but since then this has consistently been an issue. I haven’t even attempted to bring this up to Mr. Hutto because they weren’t responsive when I was doing business with them. After I got the notice saying the name was wrong and brought it up to them, they said they would fix it. I called many times and got no response. They only fixed it after I went into the office twice. That mistake has caused me to waste so much time and now a decent amount of money. Thank you very much for your assistance Ken! I was recommended to him by some big money clients and I’ve made sure to recommend that they look elsewhere for service.
