Mr. Havener helped us through two adoptions. He always put my children’s needs above all else and we are forever grateful. He made sure we understood the entire process step by step. He always gave us all of our options with his recommendation and then let us decide the best course. He listened to all of our concerns and navigated us through them. Our first adoption was a little more challenging as we had to request termination of the birth parents rights before we could proceed. That took multiple hearings and some mediation. He was with us every step of the way. Our second adoption was a direct parental placement, but the birth mother had some mental health challenges and had a very hard time staying calm enough to listen to anyone. The day after our son was born, Mr. Havener came right to the hospital and stayed for hours to allow the birth mom to grieve in her own time. Thank you for helping us complete our family.
