This is the tax business that my wife has been using for the last decade. It’s always irked me that we pay $300 for them to just file the taxes… the last draw was met last year when they couldn’t explain why the self-employment taxes for my wife’s business were $4000-5000 that previous years despite not making much more. They don’t seem to know the best way for an LLC to file, so we have moved on to somebody else that does.
They are wonderful! Patty is great; very personable and extremely knowledgeable in all the tax rules, etc. I appreciate that she takes time with us and chitchats and is genuinely interested in how we are doing as normal people, not just clients. I will be going there forever!!!
Don’t be surprised, it is in a residential neighborhood. But so far, we’ve been impressed. We were referred to them by a farm-neighbor when we bought our farm last year. Not a huge farming operation, but we are just getting started. They gave us some great info on how to “keep our books” and make sure we were “following all the rules.” I really feel like Carol has our backs and was very knowledgeable in both personal and farm taxes. Answered all our questions, offered helpful advice, and will hopefully become a regular part of our farm-ventures!
