I too had the wonderful initial video call with this law firm. I was encouraged to find what I thought was an excellent firm owned by Black women. I uploaded my documents to them and awaited a response on my issue and acceptance of my legal plan coverage. I waited a week or so with no feedback. I then called their office and asked for an update on status. I was told a message would be sent to attorneys. I have heard NOTHING after 4 weeks. So disappointed by this behavior. The least they could do is say this is not a matter they will handle or something! Unprofessional to say the least.
Great service! They are knowledgeable in the Living Trust business.
Similar to another reviewer’s experience, my initial call with DLG was p h e n o m e n a l. It was so interesting to hear an attorney speak about estate planning in such a way that really centers dignity and Black women of color. I was impressed and thoroughly looked forward to working with DLG. I was pretty much begging them to take my money lol! However, my attempts to follow-up failed, and I never heard back despite sending voicemails and emails to express my enthusiasm and get started. I can only guess that a catastrophe or extenuating circumstance — especially considering I reached out during the pandemic — happened to turn away excited clients-to-be. I ended up working with another firm (Summerall Law, who is incredible and so timely, highly recommend) and got a great plan. Finding DLG felt like hitting a goldmine, just to be ghosted in the end. I hope the communication issue has been resolved because I know this firm has the potential to serve clients at a very high level.
