By far the absolute WORST lawyer I have ever had to deal with. She “represented” my mom in my parents divorce. She went out of her way to drag myself and my sister (both in our 30s) into our parents divorce when it was absolutely not needed. She tried to rob myself of upwards of $20k by accusing myself and my father of being “in cahoots” together because I had a bank account set up by my dad YEARS ago, which he told them about going into the divorce (was a business bank account). I had to spend hours gathering information and have the displeasure of talking to Laurie on the phone to prove to her that the money in the account was mine and being used by me, I had hard facts and she still wouldn’t let it go. She also went after my sister for money my dad “possibly” gave her to use towards her college tuition, because that is so uncommon for parents to do…
